![]() As soon as you release the cutefish into open water you should get the achievement. once the egg is hatched, go into the container and pick up the cutefish. If you have a bed, sleeping in it will automatically hatch the egg. drop the cutefish egg inside the container and simply wait for the egg to hatch. will my little friend come back or will i have to put up alien missing posters until i find him. it was supposed to follow me, but the little guy seems to have ran off, and im panicking. After you've gotten your egg and your alien containment build the container in a multipurpose room (it will take up the entire room) and put a hatch on the side of it so that you can enter it. so i let my cuddlefish out for the first time and played with it a bit. Eggs will only hatch once placed inside of one and will not hatch in an aquarium. The big glass fish tank looking thing in the middle of the room? scan it you will need it. Speaking of the Degassi Grand Reef base, you had to pass the alien containment to get to the egg. The easiest one to get is the degassi grand reef egg simply because its just sitting on a table (granted so is the one in the alien science lab in the lost river but since you need the orange tablet you get FROM the degassi base, just go with this one). Fortunately it doesn't matter which one you get so long as you get one. I highly recommend saving this egg for last and ONLY if you REALLY want all 4 because the dunes is not only massive but is massive for a reason as 8 Reaper Leviathans reside here. There are 4 cutefish eggs in the game one in the Degassi Grand Reef sea base, one in the alien science lab in the lost river, one in the Grand Tree mushroom in the Northwest mushroom forest and the last (and possibly the riskiest one) in the meteor crash site in the dunes. A Cuddlefish Egg can be found on the floor of the lab.*** Spoiler - click to reveal *** For this achievement you need to find, hatch and release a cutefish. On one of these Desks lies the Orange Tablet, along with a Microscope. Inside this lab are multiple Desks and Counters with lots of Lab Equipment. Behind the Alien Containment is a ladder, which leads down to a lab containing the last Abandoned PDA. Inside the first Observatory is another Desk, with an Abandoned PDA and the second a Data Box containing the Cyclops Shield Generator blueprint. Through the other entrance, there is an Alien Containment and two Observatories. On the desk, a bunch of scattered bottles of spirits and an Abandoned PDA can be found. On this bed is a Data Box containing the Swim Charge Fins blueprint. ![]() Next to the Beds are Lockers, and above one Bed is a Picture Frame. The lower section has many Windows, one Desk and two Beds. There are two entrances to the Seabase - one way is via a broken Basic Compartment, the other through an open Hatch on the side of the upper Multipurpose Room. Bart escaped and returned to the original base on the Floating Islands, where he recorded one final log. Paul observed Marguerit fighting the attacking Leviathan after being thrown clear of the habitat, the old man dying shortly after. The Trivalve is a small fauna species that appears in Subnautica: Below Zero. The third and final seabase built by the Degasi crew, found in the Deep Grand Reef.
